Cliff notes version, no?

Sort-of-redhead with a book addiction and a tic that disguises itself as writing odd and somewhat strange fics of many different varieties and fandoms, depending on the mood. Permanently on strike from the HP-canon, since the fandom is so much better for stretching your wings and enjoying the squee-inducing worlds of slash, cross-over and lovely one-shots displaying glimpses into characters that are only secondly important in canon-verse. High Priestess in the Temple of Whedon, practicing witch, tea enthusiast, coffee devotee and Expresso Chip ice cream fiend with extremely eclectic musical taste who keeps the nest of uncontrollable red-brown curls up with a chopstick when I'm lucky and a paintbrush or pencil when I don't have anything else to use. Love cats, ferrets, ball pythons and big dogs that can effectively double as bears upon first glace; frightened of small dogs, Palmetto bugs, toads that try to get into your house after several rainy days and possums that, despite that myth of "playing dead," will run right at you in the middle of the night when you surprise them. Enjoy dancing in the rain at night (minus the toads, of course), waking up to tea with honey, cats that drape themselves across your lap as you write, when the kids are asleep and you can write without one of the little terrors running by and deleting everything you just wrote, getting just the right professor in one of my classes (one who doesn't mind when I end up talking more during a class than they do), complete and total quiet, walking through a nursery and smelling the flowers after a rain, the smell of jasmine when I fall asleep, sleeping in a room at the perfect tempurature - sixty degrees. Newly blooming empathic abilities are making things difficult, despite how well they let me peek into some characters' heads, and am working on nothing more than simply keeping them from overwhelming me, which was happening often up until recently.

The title of my journal comes from a quote from Mark Twain -
